BACKGROUND
The African Peer Review Mechanism has received financing from the African Development Bank toward the cost of the African Peer Review Mechanism Institutional Support Project, and intends to apply part of the agreed amount for this grant as payments towards the procurement of experienced Consultants to undertake the Country Review.
OBJECTIVES
The Objectives of the Country Review Mission (CRM) is to visit Egypt and carry out the widest possible range of consultations with the Government officials, officials, political parties, parliamentarians, academia, trade unions, faith-based organizations, business, professional bodies and others on Corporate Governance issues.
The Consultancy shall commence upon signing the contract and the duration is estimated take 15 days and to start in October,2019
Qualifications & Experience
The Consultants should have one of the following education profiles:
- A Masters’ degree in Economics, Business Administration, or related discipline with at a minimum of ten (10) years’ relevant experience. A PD in the relevant field will be add advantage
- Ten (10) years progressively responsible experience in private sector development and/or corporate governance in various capacities.
- High quality publications and experience in the field of Corporate Governance and the major contemporary challenges facing Africa.
The APRM now invites eligible consultants to be shortlisted and registered to provide consultancy services under the Corporate governance thematic area, in Egypt. Interested consultants must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services (curriculum vitae and certified certificates, degrees etc.), description of similar CRM assignments, and experience with Egypt
Eligibility criteria, establishment of the short-list and the selection procedure shall be in accordance with the African Development Bank’s “Procurement Policy for Bank Group Funded Operations”, dated October 2015, which is available on the Bank’s website at http://www.afdb.org.
