11 February 2021 The African Peer Review Mechanism (APRM), a specialized entity of the African Union (AU), had a mandate to supports African countries in the area of credit rating agencies. As part of this mandate, the APRM undertakes routine reviews of rating outcomes assigned by international credit ratings agencies on African countries.

Février 2021 – le Mécanisme Africain d’Evaluation par les Pairs (MAEP), une entité spécialisée de l’Union Africaine (UA), avait pour mandat de soutenir les pays africains dans le domaine des agences de notation de crédit. Dans le cadre de ce mandat, le MAEP entreprend des évaluations de routine des résultats de notation attribués par les agences internationales de notation de crédit aux pays africains.
