AFRICAN PEER REVIEW MECHANISM (APRM) MEDIA TRAINING WORKSHOP IN THE KINGDOM OF LESOTHO
28 June 2022 Maseru, Kingdom of Lesotho. The APRM held the first Media Training as part of a sensitization mission led by Prof Eddy Maloka on the 27th and 28th June 2022 in Maseru, the Kingdom of Lesotho. The training consisted of a series of workshops. The workshop was co-organized with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Relations, and Media Institute of Southern Africa (MISA) Lesotho.

NIGER FINALISES ITS NATIONAL PLAN OF ACTION
May 2022, Niamey, Niger - The republic of Niger, becomes the third out of the four countries reviewed in 2021, to harmonise and finalise its National Programme of Action (NPoA). The African Peer Review Mechanism (APRM) undertook four full reviews in 2021. Among these countries include Nigeria and South Africa (being the 2nd generation review), Niger and Namibia.

2022 APRM Day Statement
On March 9, 2003, 19 years ago, the African Peer Review Mechanism was founded by the NEPAD Heads of State Summit meeting held in Abuja, Nigeria. Now, almost two decades later, the APRM stretches across all AU regions, and includes 42 of the 55 AU Member States in the APRM community, with Burundi as the latest to accede at the 31st APR Forum of Heads of State and Government meeting held on 04 February 2022.
