APRM Report on the Education and Research Foundation (ERF) Career Day
Ms. Mary Agbebaku-Izobo represented the CEO, Prof Eddy Maloka at the ERF Career Day event on Saturday, the 9th of September 2017 at the Fidelitas Comprehensive School, Soweto.
The ERF is a voluntary based non-profit organization established in 2008 to contribute towards transformation of education in South Africa. Thus, the ERF every year, organizes a career exposure programme for students who participate in its Programme, to which the APRM was invited.
Ms Mary Agbebaku-Izobo during the Career day event, introduced the Grade 10 and 11 students to varied available career options related to their subject streams in the field of arts, humanities and social sciences. She also guided them on which degrees, programmes, diplomas to apply for in pursuit of their chosen careers. At the end of the event, Ms Mary Agbebaku-Izobo on behalf of the APRM expressed her appreciation for the invite as well as a collaboration with the ERF to mentor about 5 students up to university level or beyond.
