The Follow-up Mission was carried out upon the submission by Sudan of the first draft of its Country Self- Assessment Report to the APRM Secretariat.

The visiting delegation had several meetings with the Focal Point for Sudan, Dr. Ibrahim Dagash, the Chairperson of the National Governing Council (NGC ) , Dr. Atallah al-Bashir, members of the National Governing Council, and Thematic experts who authored the draft Country Self-Assessment Report .

The APRM delegation was received by the First Vice President of the Republic of Sudan, H.E. Bakri Hassan Saleh, and also met with the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Hon. Kamal Ismail . Amb.
