
May 2019, Kigali, Rwanda – The APRM and CryptoSavannah have entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on promoting innovation and the 4th Industrial Revolution (4IR) in Africa. The organizations will achieve this through collaboration on various engagements including among others; The Africa 4.0 Initiative and the Africa Blockchain Conference.
The APRM CEO Prof. Eddy Maloka said the Mechanism considers innovation as an important catalyst towards good governance and the APRM is interested to collaborate on common projects with a view of using innovation to support the efforts on transparency and accountability in Africa.
CryptoSavannah CEO Mr. Kwame Rugunda expressed his gratitude to the APRM for their support and applauded its commitment to using modern technology to improve the work of good governance in Africa. Mr. Rugunda further extended an invitation to APRM to attend the Africa Blockchain Conference in July 2019. The Conference which will be hosted under the theme Africa 4.0 will focus on preparing Africa for the 4th Industrial Revolution.
