The two personalities discussed the situation in Mali and particularly the evolution of the Transition.
As he left the audience, Professor Edward Tshidiso Maloka told reporters that the purpose of this meeting with the Prime Minister was to see to what extent the APRM “can play a role in supporting Mali in the transition. ”
The African Peer Review Mechanism (APRM) was established in 2003 by the Committee of Heads of State and Government (HSGIC) responsible for implementing the New Partnership for Africa’s Development (NEPAD) as an instrument for voluntary self-assessment of the governance performance of Member States.
