Nairobi, Kenya, 10 May 2016- The APRM Revitalization Committee met today in Nairobi, Kenya in preparation for the July 2016 Summit to be held in Kigali, Rwanda. At the meeting APRM CEO, Professor Eddy Maloka presented the APRM Strategic Plan which among others highlighted the strategies on Resource Mobilization and Programmatic Activities. The meeting which was Chaired by Cabinet Secretary for Devolution and Planning Hon. Mwangi Kiunjuri brought together Focal Points,
APRM Strategic Partners and AUC Representatives, led by AUC Deputy Chair, H.E Erastus Mwencha, this in an effort to drive forward the APRM Revitalization process as Mandated by the January 2016 APR Forum which was held in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
The APRM delegation was led by APR Panel Chairperson Dr. Mustapha Mekideche. The Revitalization Committee meeting which ends tomorrow (10 May) will come up with an Outcomes Document which will be presented for approval by the APR Forum.
